Eligibility & Qualification

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Library & Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc) or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Technical Skill: Sound basic knowledge of Computer Applications is required.
• Desirable Parameter: Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi or English.
• Passing Year Constraint: Only candidates who cleared their degree in 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 (result awaited) are thoroughly eligible. Candidates who have undergone prior apprenticeship elsewhere cannot apply.

Age Limit Criteria

Minimum age limit is 18 years and Maximum age limit is 28 years (computed as on the date of written test/interview). Category-wise age relaxation applies as per standard Central Government norms (5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Selection Procedure & How to Apply

• Mandatory Step: Candidates must first enroll on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal (nats.education.gov.in) to generate their Enrollment Number.
• Application Mode: Download the prescribed application format from the IIMC official website. Fill out the application in capital letters and attach self-attested document bundles.
• Selection Stages: Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit tracking, followed by an offline written test, skill test, or personal interview conducted at IIMC New Delhi.
