4. Qualification
Eligibility is strictly as per DAVCMC / State / CBSE norms:
- Librarian (Grade I - TGT Cadre): Master’s / Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc / B.Lib.I.Sc) with requisite percentage and relevant experience as per CBSE/DAVCMC norms.
- Librarian (Grade II - PRT Cadre): Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc / BLIS) or Graduate with Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution.
- Library Assistant (Non-Teaching Cadre): Degree or Diploma in Library Science / Certificate in Library Science with knowledge of computerized library management operations.
5. Age Limit
As per DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC) / State Government rules and CBSE guidelines. Specific age criteria can be verified on the centralized recruitment portal.
6. Salary
As per 7th Pay Commission / DAVCMC pay scales corresponding to the cadre (TGT, PRT, or Ministerial/Non-teaching post) based on regular or contractual terms as offered by the specific school.
7. Selection Process
- DAV-CBT Exam: Computer Based Test scheduled to be held in December 2026 across designated examination centres.
- Provisional Eligibility Card (P.E.C.): Candidates who successfully qualify the DAV-CBT will be issued a P.E.C.
- Demo & Interview (Final Round): Candidates with P.E.C. can apply at any DAV school across Haryana for demo-teaching/practical assessment and interview rounds.
8. Application Fee
After physical approval and submission of verification at the nearest school, the online CBT exam fee is to be paid within 7 days via the recruitment portal. The exact fee amount will be generated upon portal activation.
9. How to Apply
Note: Candidates can apply for ONE post only using their own Registered Mobile Number (RMN).
- Step 1 (Online Form): Visit the official portal http://davrecruit.davcmc.in/, fill out the online CBT form on or before 08.10.2026 (08:00 PM) and submit it as 'FORM READY FOR VERIFICATION'.
- Step 2 (Physical Verification): Take a printout of the submitted form and carry it to the nearest DAV school (along with original testimonials for verification) between 25.09.2026 to 16.10.2026 during working hours.
- Step 3 (Fee Payment): After final approval and submission, log back into the portal within 7 days to pay the CBT examination fee.
